Next week is Martin Luther King Day. We get Monday off because Martin Luther King Jr. sacrificed a lot to follow his dream.

I think people treat others a lot better today than back then.

I think Kid President's speech was inspiring because it shows people that not only adults have dreams, but kids do too. I agree with Tenny,MLK would be proud of how far we have come in this society, how all people are equal.

If we're to dream anything it would be that people wouldn't abuse animals. I also think that all people are treated fairly today because when MLK was still alive people were not treating blacks correctly. I know that because white people were spraying blacks with fire truck hoses and sending police dogs to attack them.

I believe that if Martin Luther King Jr. was to see us today he would be very happy. Probably because before in his day everyone was separated, for example there were different water fountains for different races. But now thanks to him and his dream we aren't' separated from everyone. I think that Martin Kuther King Jr. changed the world and that without him the world could still be separated and some other amazing things wouldn't have happened without him. Thank you Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. would be so proud of how far we've come. By this I mean the way we have started treating people differently. An example is schools. Schools aren't segregated like they were when he was alive. In many places, all races are excepted now, which I think is a very good thing.

I think we treat each other a lot better. Some examples on how we treat people better now is there are not any black and then white water fountains or schools. We all eat at the same restraurant all shop at the same place. I don't think it was right what our ancestors did, that's why we are here to change it.
