Our Classroom Expectations
Raise your hand to speak.
Follow all directions the first time asked.
Be polite to everyone – classmates, teachers, staff, visitors and all adults!
Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself
Do your best - even when it's hard, even when it's easy!
Classwork and Homework Expectations
In sports, an athlete would never go to the championship round without the proper practice. In order for each student to reach his or her best, he/she must give 100% during our "practice". Classwork and homework are assigned to give students the opportunity to try out and practice new concepts taught in class.
I expect students to be prepared by knowing what assignments are given, reading all the directions, and attempting and completing all classwork and homework. As a teacher, I am not expecting all answers to be correct, but I am looking for effort and a willingness to ask questions to help get ready for "the championship round" (the tests!!).
